NSPCC - Case Study

The challenge

The NSPCC had set up a new division – Child Protection Consultancy (CPC) – with the intent of supporting UK organisations responsible for child safeguarding and protection.

Following a competitive tender, Quadrant was commissioned to conduct a wide ranging market and customer insight assignment to help CPC management plan and develop the division’s future shape, direction and priorities.

What did we do?

Our work programme covered a broad variety of strands, including:

  • An extensive market survey among commissioners of training and consultancy
  • Creation of a demand market map across priority sectors
  • A training and consultancy pricing review
  • Development of a new business model to support CPC’s strategic goals

Bringing all the elements together, we presented a series of overall conclusions and strategic recommendations to feed into CPC’s planning process

What was the breakthrough for NSPCC?

Our market assessment has given NSPCC a whole new insight into the market for child protection training and customer needs, and therefore the opportunity for CPC. The business model we created provides a clear potential solution to the issues faced.
